Back in my day dirt was fairly new. Transporting speakers made of stone was hard so we came up with bronze...men were men in those days...

Nah wheels were invented later. We placed logs under our "Voice of the Paleozoic" speakers so we could roll them.

When my grandmother was little, their house was moved on logs. It wasn't moved far, but it took more than one day. She went to bed fearing the house would roll into the lake while she slept.

i have a fairly large shed near my cabin that we're going to move using logs as rollers in a few weeks. The ground under it has settled and needs to be re-leveled.
